Telehealth Psychiatry in Oregon

I am Maria "Masha" Steiner-Renoir, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with an active Oregon APRN-NP license and prescriptive authority. I treat adults anywhere in Oregon by secure video: psychiatric evaluation, medication management, therapy, integrative psychiatry, and integration therapy after psychedelic experiences. In Oregon my practice is telehealth-only, which is not a compromise. Complete care, from the first evaluation through ongoing prescribing, happens remotely, and no one needs to travel to Colorado unless they choose an in-person treatment that cannot be done by video.

Care that reaches every county

Oregon's geography makes psychiatric care uneven. Rural counties often have no psychiatric prescriber at all, and even in Portland and Salem a first appointment can mean a months-long wait. Video care closes that distance. Oregon care is telehealth only: a secure video platform, online scheduling, and secure messaging, with prescriptions sent electronically to your Oregon pharmacy.

What I offer Oregon patients

  • Psychiatric evaluation. A 90-minute first appointment with room for your history, your goals, and the questions nobody has asked yet.
  • Medication management. Collaborative prescribing with ongoing monitoring, and pharmacogenomic testing when past medications have failed without explanation.
  • Integrative psychiatry. Evidence-based treatment combined with attention to nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, and the body's own signals.
  • Therapy and counseling. Individual therapy focused on trauma, coping skills, and resilience, with parts work and somatic approaches.
  • Psychedelic integration therapy. Support for processing and applying what came up in a psychedelic experience, whatever its source.
  • Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, guidance and education. Screening, preparation, and integration by video; dosing sessions happen in person in Colorado.

Integration therapy and Oregon's regulated programs

Oregon was the first state to regulate psilocybin services for adults, and some of the people who come to me have been through those licensed programs, or through experiences elsewhere, and want a clinician who takes the material seriously. I do not provide psilocybin and MindMorph is not part of any psilocybin program. What I offer is the psychiatric side: a prescriber who understands altered states, who can revisit a diagnosis or a medication list in light of what happened, and who treats integration as real clinical work rather than an afterthought.

Conditions I treat in Oregon

The same problems I focus on everywhere: treatment-resistant depression after several medications have failed, complex and developmental trauma, anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, panic, and social anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.

What stays in Colorado

Spravato (esketamine) is given only in person, under its FDA monitoring program, at the Lakewood, Colorado office, and ketamine dosing sessions are in person as well. Oregon patients use telehealth for evaluation, therapy, preparation, and medication management, and some choose to travel for an in-person treatment intensive. Neither treatment can be done by video, from any state.

Where in Oregon, and when

All of it. Patients join from Portland, Salem, Eugene, Bend, Medford, Corvallis, and Ashland, and from rural counties where psychiatric care is scarce; the only requirement is that you are physically in Oregon at the time of the visit. Office hours are by appointment only: Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 6 PM Mountain Time, which is 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific, and Saturday, 10 AM to 3 PM Mountain (9 AM to 2 PM Pacific). Times display in your own zone when you book.

Insurance for Oregon patients

I am in network with Oregon plans for psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy, including Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Providence Health Assurance, TRICARE West and the VA Community Care Network, both through TriWest. The current Oregon list is below. Self-pay rates and superbills are on the insurance and payment page.

A small practice, on purpose

You work with one provider who knows your history and does not have to be reminded of it. I believe people carry an innate capacity to heal, and my job is to guide that process rather than rush through it. Healing isn't about forcing happiness, it's about restoring your capacity to feel fully alive. Individual outcomes vary.

Getting started

The first step is a free consultation by video: a short conversation about what is going on and whether this practice is the right fit for it. From there, Oregon patients move to the 90-minute evaluation and then to a plan, all without leaving the state or the house. Replies come quickly; once someone has decided to ask for help, I do not want the calendar to be the thing that talks them out of it.

If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. This practice does not provide emergency services.

Questions

Yes. I hold an active Oregon APRN-NP license with prescriptive authority and treat adults anywhere in Oregon by secure telehealth. Oregon licenses nurse practitioners on its own, separately from Colorado, and I maintain both licenses so that patients in either state receive care from the same provider.

What MindMorph offers is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, not a psychiatrist, licensed in Oregon and available statewide by secure video. A PMHNP-BC evaluates, diagnoses, prescribes, and provides therapy, so for most people the care covers the same ground they were looking for from a psychiatrist.

No. Oregon patients receive complete care remotely: evaluation, therapy, medication management, and integration work. The only exceptions are Spravato and ketamine dosing sessions, which must be monitored in person at the Lakewood office. Choosing those treatments is optional, and most Oregon patients never make the trip.

Where clinically appropriate, yes, under current federal telehealth rules in effect through at least the end of 2026 and under Oregon state law. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your Oregon pharmacy. Every prescribing decision follows a thorough evaluation, the same standard that applies in an office.

All of it. Telehealth reaches anywhere in the state, from Portland, Salem, and Eugene to Bend, Medford, Corvallis, Ashland, and the rural counties where psychiatric care is hardest to find. The one requirement is that you are physically located in Oregon at the time of the visit.

Spravato is in-office only, under its FDA monitoring program, and that office is in Lakewood, Colorado; it is never given by telehealth. Ketamine dosing sessions are in person as well. Oregon patients use video for evaluation, therapy, and medication management, and some choose to travel for an in-person treatment intensive.
